Hi Sonrise! Sonrise Mother’s Day at the Spa last Saturday was a strong showing of the love of Jesus in action.  Thank you to over 30 volunteers who worked and to all who gave and prayed for this outreach.  We gave gifts to about 25 single moms including 16 oil changes, lots of clothes, food, hair cuts and manicures.  The hard-working car washers were extraordinary! This Sunday, May 19th, is Pentecost Sunday on which date we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the disciples in Acts 2.  We will complete the current sermon series on ‘The Empowering Spirit’ … Continue reading

Remember Me

24 “And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. 25 Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also, saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. (AMP)” Jesus says, ‘Remember Me.’ What does it mean to remember? It can mean to think about or to call to mind; to remember, weigh well and consider; to be held, … Continue reading
